KNITTINGFINGERS “SIERS”

I AM A CRAFTS FANATIC

I learned to crochet when I was 8 years-old and to knit when I was 12. However, when I graduated from High School and started working, I stopped crocheting and knitting.

I began to do it again after having my first and only daughter and I haven’t stopped since. Later I was introduced to knitting looms, knitting machines, weaving looms, beading looms and so on.

I started collecting knitting machines and looms. I recorded how to use them. My computer got a virus and crashed. I lost all my videos. So, I decided to start a YouTube channel to save all my tutorials without risk. I didn’t think anyone would watch my videos. I record videos both in English and Spanish. But, they did, and people kept asking me for more videos and for written instructions. This prompted me to start my KNITTINGFINGERS blog.

With my YouTube channel and my blog, I hope to contribute to preserving the love for crafts. I focus particularly on knitting machines, which are now extinct. I refuse to let such an amazing form of art become a thing of the past.
